The Catholic University of America, under the leadership of the Graduate Student Association (GSA), organized Crabfest, the annual kick-off party for graduate students. More than 200 people enjoyed the last days of summer on the Columbus School of Law lawn with all-you-can-eat crabs from Maryland, a barbecue buffet, games, and music.

Graduate students, families, friends, and other members  of the University community enjoyed the party. Tickets were sold online and at the door, with a special discount for graduate students.

Graduate students had the opportunity to bond as a community, meet students from other disciplines, and relax after the start of the semester. They played cornhole and ate crabs, hamburgers, hot dogs, and salad. A vegetarian option was also available.
