Dear Campus Community,

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Washington, D.C. The Department of Public Safety will open the University parking garage from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today, Monday, March 13, so campus residents can move their vehicles to the lower level of the parking garage. This applies to all vehicles parked in snow emergency routes including the McMahon Hall lot. A map of the snow emergency routes can be found on the public safety website.

Keeping the surface lots free of vehicles will allow for easier access for the snow removal teams and their equipment. The garage will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, for residents to remove their vehicles. Please direct any concerns to CUA-FAS@cua.edu.

Shuttle service on March 13, will be suspended at 6 p.m.

If a decision is made to close the University or to delay the opening tomorrow, March 14, the Office of Marketing and Communications will notify the University community by 5 a.m. via email, a notice on the university home page, Facebook and Twitter, and a recorded message on ext. 5000 of the University phone system.
