Students who wish to transfer to Catholic University from another college or university are required to submit the Common Application and all additional application materials by the appropriate application deadline:

  • $55 nonrefundable application fee (payable online or via check)
  • Common Application Essay
  • Official Transcripts
    • For students without an Associate’s Degree:
      • An official final high school transcript that includes your graduation date.
      • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
    • For students with an Associate’s Degree:
      • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
  • Recommendation Letter (One required)
    • At least one letter must be from a current professor or instructor.
  • Certificate of Good Standing
    • An official document from your current college or university stating you are in good academic standing, are eligible to return to the institution, and contains an explanation of any disciplinary infractions; the document must be submitted directly by your institution. There are two options for submitting the Certificate:
  • Official SAT or ACT Scores (Optional)
  • Portfolio Review (Architecture students only)
  • Audition (Music students only)

Deadlines for Transfer Students

All applicants are encouraged to submit their completed application as soon as possible to allow adequate time for transfer credit evaluation.

  • Fall Semester - July 15
    • Notification begins after April 1
    • Applications for Fall Housing due by August 1
  • Spring Semester - November 15
    • Rolling notification
  • Summer Term - April 15
    • Rolling notification
