CUA Adds Second Mission Trip to Costa Rica: 3/6/12 In addition to sending Catholic University students to Jamaica to work with children and the elderly, Campus Ministry has added a second spring break mission trip, this one to Costa Rica.

Student Groups Contribute to Service Challenge: 2/22/12 Student organizations at CUA are engaging in a variety of projects to contribute to the service challenge, which started last May and ends on April 10. They include homeless food drives, mission trips, and raising money for cancer research.

Father Brian Shanley Delivers 125th Anniversary Aquinas Lecture: 2/6/12 In honor of the feast of St. Thomas Aquinas, patron saint of Catholic University, the School of Philosophy and the 125th Anniversary Committee sponsored a lecture by Rev. Brian J. Shanley, O.P., president of Providence College, on Jan. 27, 2012. It was titled "St. Thomas Aquinas: Companion and Patron." (Video)

Catholic University Breaks Service Hours Goal: 1/25/12 On Jan. 24, the Catholic University community achieved the University’s goal of recording 125,000 hours of charitable service.

After the performance, the celebration will continue at a reception featuring dancing with live music.
